Program Description:
The Samurai Spirit Jiu Jitsu After School Program offers a structured and positive environment where children can learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu alongside their peers. Our certified instructors promote a healthy lifestyle, instilling confidence and discipline in a supportive setting.

Our program is designed to assist parents in equipping their children with the skills to handle challenges such as bullying, peer pressure, academic focus, and low self-esteem. The program emphasizes self-improvement through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu principles. Students develop physically and mentally through martial arts and leadership activities.

Daily, children are picked up from school (for schools nearby) and are provided with a space to eat their parent-supplied snacks and engage in age-specific Jiu-Jitsu activities.

This program is available for children aged 4 to 14. Please note that this is not a daycare or babysitting service. The program focuses on martial arts instruction, fitness, and the teachings of Grandmaster Carlos Gracie Sr.

 

Down Payment Policy:
Upon registration, a down payment equivalent to one month’s membership fee is required. This payment applies to the final month of the membership term. A 30-day written notice is required for cancellation. The down payment is non-refundable. In case your child already has our uniform and rash guard, we will provide a discount of $199 on the first payment.

Service Payment Commitment:
The payment is on a monthly subscription basis, until the end of the contract term, unless a 30-day written notice is given to info@samuraispirit.ca. Membership fees are collected monthly via automatic withdrawal (credit card or void cheque) and are non-refundable.

Withdrawal from After School Program:
If persistent behavioral issues occur despite intervention, the program reserves the right to withdraw a child. Parents will be notified in writing of the decision, including the effective withdrawal date.

No School Days:
The After School Program operates only when school is in session. The program does not run on statutory holidays, professional development days, or during Spring, Summer, or Winter Breaks.

Monthly Payment:
The program fee is divided into 10 monthly installments, covering the full school year from September to June. Payments are required in full each month.

Early Dismissal:
Parents must provide 48 hours' notice for early dismissal to arrange for appropriate pickup.

Absent Days:
Parents must notify staff through e-mail (info@samuraispirit.ca) if a student will not attend that day.

Program Alteration:
Members may change the number of attendance days with one month’s notice. Fees will adjust accordingly.

Drop-Off Service:
Optional drop-off service is available after class. Extra charges might be in effect depending on location. Arrival time depends on traffic. 

Lost Items:
Parents should label their child’s belongings. Samurai Spirit is not responsible for lost items.

Liability Waiver and School Rules:
By signing this agreement, parents acknowledge and accept liability waivers and the gym’s rules.
